Methods of Inquiry

1. Color extraction and associating feeling/ emotions/symbols with swatches of color. These feelings could be from personal experience or something universally accepted.

2. Jotting down statements or facts about the color either from personal observation.

3. Asking questions related to the color, such as why/how the things that are associated with that color.

4. Listing down associations and symbols from the color.

5. Creating mind-maps.

Method of Inquiry-- Reflection on the use of Mind-maps

Mind-maps was one of the methods of inquiry introduced to us during the project. The use of mind maps involve branching out the core topic/theme into its categories and further into sub categories. This method helped in organising thoughts and terms that were thrown into a list. The mind map would slowly spread out in size as listed thoughts and ideas were gradually put into appropriate categories.
